iTunes mysteriously deleting Apps from iPhone when syncing
A short while ago I had a little issue when syncing my iPhone with iTunes.
All of a sudden iTunes started removing all my installed applications that I got from the iTunes Application store. It didn't even bother asking for confirmation or at least warning me, it just started deleting applications, settings and everything - even the backup was cleared.
Great!
After a while of desparation I figured out what caused it though:
Somehow my computer deauthenticated itself from the iTunes Music store but it apparantly thought it was still authenticated, so as a DRM-protective or whatever measure it just started removing everything. Awesome!
So I authorized it again, entered my Apple-ID's password and it finally decided to put all my apps back on - of course the settings were lost, but fair enough, it was just games anyway.
Lesson learnt. Hrmph.

This way doesn't consume
This way doesn't consume additional activations.
experiencing the same prob
experiencing the same prob but a little less expanded (not all the apps), and they are from installous...
One way or another the method you are suggesting doesnt consume one of the 5 authorizations you have?
Of course for you if you had no other way...
